Rais Mohammed Khan is a citizen of Afghanistan who was held in the Bagram Theater Internment Facility. He is notable because the human rights group, Human Rights First, published part of the dossier used for his trial in an April 10, 2008 report on the trials of Afghans based on evidence supplied to them by the USA. Human Rights First reported that Afghan officials had tried 82 former captives of the USA between October 2007 and April 2008. The trials took place in a special court room built in Block D of the Pul-e-charkhi prison. Block D is a new wing of the prison, built by the USA, to a US design, staffed by a guard force trained and selected by the USA, to guard captives who were all former captives of the USA.
