Included is an article by James Bridge who served Carnegie as literary assistants from 1884 to 1889. Another article is written by Charles Flint, "the father of trusts," a merchant, banker, and trustifier who equated free business enterprise with natural law. James J. Hill writes on "Combinations and the Public."
